In Counter/ Fixed Mounted Barcode Scanners

Fixed mounted barcode scanners are specific to the manufacturing and logistics industries. These industrial barcode readers are most frequently used on conveyor belts which scan and identifies every pallet or box that goes through it which needs to be routed to another process or shipping destination.

Counter mounted barcode scanners and in-counter barcode scanners are used by supermarkets and other very busy and large retail outlets. Instead of using the scanner to manually scan the barcode as you would with a handheld or wireless scanners, the product is moved against the counter mounted barcode scanner and it captures the details from the barcode. When coupled with a conveyor belt it makes the experience for paying for shopping faster and easier.
